So we'll call this one ... a mod of a mod of a mod ... of maybe another mod.
My friend N fell in love with Fullmetal Alchemist around the same time that she fell in love with C. When their marriage hit a bunch of Sesshomaru-shaped rocks and started to derail, she decided she didn't like FMA so much anymore and gave all her FMA stuff ... to me.
Which was pretty cool. I'm not a huge FMA fan, but I do write quite a bit of FMA fanfiction. Or did. Whatever.
However, none of this happened before she modified the shirt you see here, chopping off the sleeves and hem. Now N and I are shaped differently; this shirt's an L. I wear ... S. Or M. Or S&M ... wrong abbreviation.
I decided to do one pattern on this shirt, out of the book Generation T[link] in order to turn it into something I could wear. The pattern, however, was made for women who do NOT have boobs, and as I do not fit into that category, the modification FAILED.
So, having destroyed my tshirt project, I thought: "Might as well try something else on it. So what if it doesn't work, shirt's ruined already."
Ended up with this. Which, to my way of thinking, is just about the opposite of fail.
If you have a copy of Generation T, I used pattern 33 for the back, then chopped the back off and used 47 for the front. And, um. It worked.
I'm thinking of making a step-by-step tutorial for this one ... would that be helpful to you?
